 Fashion is cyclic, and what our Kumaoni women are creating is of a time much before than what is now. Mangalya potli has been handcrafted with love, by making each knot carefully and delightfully into a small aesthetic pouch. Only if you were to see the pleasure this end product brought to our woman who made it the first time!

Mangalya pouch has a lining of cotton cloth stitched inside for convenience of use. A wooden bead is placed around the opening of the pouch to tighten it giving it the most beautiful look.

Craft: Macrame; made with twisted cotton dori (lace).

All our products are handcrafted from scratch. Kindly allow for minor variations in color payoff or design.

You can just use the hair dryer to blow the dust regularly instead of washing it with water for the normal maintenance. If you have to wash the product, please wash it by hands and pay attention not to rub it. In case of smaller products, we suggest you to do spot cleaning using a wet damp cloth.
